12 point where cogging torque is maximum can be seen respect to obtained graphic for over 180 degree. There are 6 point over 180 degree.

It was produced to use with 5V microcontroller. But, recently produced microcontrollers require 3.3V supply. How to drive 5V LCD module with 3.3V dsPIC33FJ64MC706 was tried to explain, below. A circuit schematics and a test program was provided to this purpose.

LCD module based on Hitachi HD44780 was required 5v supply. Even if, this module can be run with 3.3V supply, LCD glass part of it was required 5V supply to display any character on it. In this stuation, seperate supplies wich are 5V and 3.3V. Also, 3.3V supply was obtained from 5V supply. Circuit diagram to connection between DCS and LCD was given below. Click on it to enlarge. First of them is LCD Keypad driver project. You will find details of it below.

Drivers were developed on schematics was given below. Drivers were written on MPLAB and MPLAB C30 which can be downloaded from Microchip web site as freely. dsPIC was run at 40 MIPS. An archive file which is included C source files, schematics and hex file for testing can be dowlaoded below…
